Lust Have It - September

So I went away for a few days and came back to find the delightful little package, which is the Lust Have It box. I always look forward to receiving one each month, to see what new products are there to try and what surprises they have in store for me.

In case you don't know, Lust Have it is a subscription box service with packages available with payment per month $19.95, or in lots of 3, 6 or 12 months.

For this months box, the theme was "Spring Fling".

This is what was in this month's box:

Wotnot - Natural Organic Facial Wipes - Sample (5 wipes)
RRP $7.95 for 24 wipes
I have received these wipes before and I don't dislike them. Although I'm not a huge fan of using wipes, there is the odd occasion when they are called for and as wipes go, these are quite good. They seem to remove make-up and leave the skin feeling fresh, yet nourished. Good to keep on the go or for festivals or for those lazy late nights home when you just need something to get the makeup off before falling in a heap.

Mary Kay - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover - Sample (29ml)
RRP $22 for 110ml
At the moment I'm currently using the Simple Eye Make up remover and am quite happy with it, however with some waterproof products I find I need to let the soaked cotton pad sit on my eye to ease off the makeup. I'm looking forward to trying this eye makeup remover and test it with my waterproof products. The thing I really enjoy with the Simple solution, is that there is no irritation on my eyes, so I'm hoping this is also the case with the Mary Kay!

L'Oreal - Base Magique Primer - Sample ( 5ml)
RRP $29.95 for 15ml
This is another product which I have tried before in a previous sample. It's a good primer with a silicone base that sits on the skin and doesn't ball up like some do. It lasts quite well and is a good every day primer with no offensive smell.

L'Oreal - Infaliable Make-up Liquid Foundation - Sample (1ml)
RRP $33.95 for 30ml
I was hoping to try the other L'Oreal product that was included in some boxes - the Nude Magique BB cream. Unfortunately this liquid foundation sample was received in shade 140 Golden Beige, which is way too dark for my porcelain skin. However, in saying this, I use these samples to get a feel of the texture, coverage and blend-ability and even add my white base to see how it works.

Bioderma - Sebium Foaming Gel - Sample (10ml)
RRP $29.95 for 500ml
I am yet to try many products from Bioderma, but what I have tried I have liked. I'm not a huge fan of gel cleansers as I find many of them drying on my skin, however this product claims to be non-irritating and reduce sebum secretion. I would think this is implying it is non-drying then because if it were, it would only exacerbate sebum secretion..? I guess we shall see..

Bioderma - Sebium AKN - Sample ( 5ml)
RRP $24.95 for 30ml
This is another product I haven't tried from Bioderma, but sounds like it is suited to me. It claims to prevent deterioration and thickening of sebum to reduce the appearance and development of imperfections. I'm not entirely sure how these claims will play out, bit it will be interesting to see how the product works with my skin nether-the-less.

Baji - Super-Nutri Rescue Eye Serum - Full Size
RRP $39.00 for 15ml
A welcome full size product in this box and it's an Australian made by Baji. The serum is very light and refreshing with a non offensive smell. Even though I'm still young enough to get away with not caring about anti-aging products, I still think prevention and proper skin care in your younger years is key. Now this product claims to help fight against wrinkles, black circles and puffiness around the eyes. I don't know about you, but even though I'm in my early 20's I suffer from black circles and occasionally puffiness around my eyes, so I'm hoping this product is the answer to my prayers!

Lust Have It - Synthetic Precision Pencil Brush
RRP $15.00
This is quite a soft small pointed brush that would be particularly great for precision placement of pigments or colour. I'll be interested to see how it's blending abilities play out and whether there is much fall out of the bristles. This could also potentially be great for spot concealing and due to its synthetic  bristles can be used on cream and also powder products.

TOM - Organic Regular Tampons - Sample (x2)
RRP $7.99 for 16
This is a bonus product in this months box and I'm pretty sure it's self explanatory for many of you out there. It says it's biodegradable, certified organic cotton and free from chemicals and bleaches, so may be a godsend for those of you who have particular allergies or reactions to certain compounds.

Overall this month I'm quite pleased. Didn't quite live up to how great last months box was, but still quite a few products to try and put to the test. A sneak peak for next months box is that full size Inika cosmetics product for every subscriber will be included! So if you are like me and haven't tried Inika before, it may be a great oportunity to sign up and see how they perform.

Did you receive the same as me? How did your box compare?
