If you are like me and on the pale end of the spectrum, you probably find it extremely hard to find drugstore or pharmacy foundations in the right shade. So you can imagine how excited I was to find out on my recent browse through ASOS, that Rimmel have released a "Light Porcelain" shade in some of their foundation offerings. Plus all three of them have pumps!
These three all have the same light floral scent, which to me isn't too noticeable and fades away once blended into the skin. I apply the foundation either with finger tips or the Real Techniques buffing brush for the smoothest, most natural finish.
As you can see in the swatches the Lasting Finish (ASOS - AUD$14.71) has the pinkest undertones, Match Perfection (ASOS - AUD$13.71; Priceline - AUD$17.95) more on the yellow side and the Wake Me Up (ASOS - AUD$16.67) being the palest out of all three - despite all being the same shade - 010 Light Porcelain. Now all three of these can be found on ASOS, however as far as I can see only the Match Perfection can be found on the Australian market, which is a little disappointing. Now overall I would have to say the Wake Me Up foundation is my favourite, due to it's slightly dewy medium coverage, however I can say I still very much enjoy the other two as well.
It's nice to finally see some lighter shades in the drug store!
