It seems lip products are what I crave these days, so when another holiday exclusive set was on offer at Mecca Cosmetic, this time from Too faced, I had to say yes.
This set is purely on four mini's of Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks, which includes a lovely nude, peachy pink, bright pink and deep red/burgundy hue. They are what they say on the packaging - a liquid lipstick, however the applicator makes it much easier to apply, than say the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. The formula is also vastly better! A creamy, pigmented, slightly glossy, long wearing formula that stains the lips, but is also comfortable and non-drying on the lips. I will however say that the Nars Lip Pencils (link) are longer lasting and perhaps more fool-proof. Being liquid lipsticks, there is more of a slip with the product and you will need to be pre-warned about moving those lips around too vigorously before it sets -
aka the Miranda Sings effect.
I bought mine from Mecca Cosmetica (
link) for $34, which was quite a reasonable price I thought. If this kind of product appeals to you I would snap it up, but in all honesty I think I prefer the Nars Lip pencils due to their extended longevity on the lips.
