The Best Brush Spot Cleaner, And You Probably Already Have It At Home....

It cleans; it's cheap; it works and you probably already have it at home. What am I talking about? Micellular water. I discovered another use for this by accident the other day when I was creating a smokey eye in a rush and was short of brushes. And I haven't stopped using it since...

I will quickly jump in and say it does not replace a proper brush wash. It's also not antibacterial, so I highly recommend keeping isopropal alcohol handy for anything other than quick cleans on personal use brushes. But it's a marvelous product to have around and is so multi-use.

Wing-liner needs sharpening? Apply some to a cotton bud and off you go. Don't want to use dry shampoo and need a little hair refresher? Apply some to a cotton pad and press along your hair. Obviously it's also a fantastic makeup remover before a proper cleanse and it's certainly a staple product for me. My favourite so far is by Garnier. I find it's just as effective as the cult favourite Bioderma and it's certainly a lot more budget friendly!
