Mid Week Magic..? Pai Mask Review

http://www.ellenrozalia.com/2015/09/mid-week-magic-pai-mask-review.html
I enjoy a midweek mask for a pick-me up. Something that I can use the night before and wake up the next day with a clarity and freshness to my skin. As strange as it sounds, it can make that mid-week hump just a little more manageable. So I've been giving the Pai masks a work out for the past few weeks and here are my thoughts. For reference I've been trying the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Rapid Radiance Mask and the Pai Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask.

Whilst being very lovely, soothing and gentle, I found they lacked a little oomph. In some ways they are the perfect mask to use mid-week, as you won't have to worry about peeling, redness etc. But in other ways, I didn't experience any visible results. If going by the name alone, I would be inclined to disagree with the claims of rapid radiance and deep cleansing.

L-R: Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Rapid Radiance Mask, Pai Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask

They both feel like very creamy based masks and tend to remain this way on the skin even after 10-15 mintues, or longer. Perhaps I'm being over critical as Pai really do make some truly lovely products, however I would describe these as being more nourishing and soothing masks with a touch of radiance or deep cleansing. So whilst these aren't exactly what I pegged them as being, they may still be a lovely addition to your routine. However, if you're looking at investing in these for ground breaking results, maybe do some extra searching.

Of course each to their own and this is only my experience and I have read some truly favourable reviews online. The Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Rapid Radiance Mask (link) and the Pai Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask (link) retail for $60 each.

Have you tried these products? What were your thoughts?
