I'm not exactly the one who's out every Friday night, but that doesn't mean my skin doesn't look worse for wear some mornings.Sometimes it's dry, flaky, unruly and just doesn't want to do what I want it to do. Sometimes silicone based primers are just too heavy and don't fit the bill, which to be honest are most of the primers out there. So when Too Faced launched their HangOver Rx primer, I was ready to jump on board.
The consistency is almost like a very light (coconut) water based moisturiser and it sinks in lovely into my skin. I find it gives a hydrated feel to my skin and I would agree that products do sit better on top as well. However, I wouldn't exactly say that this increases the longevity of my make-up and if this is what I'm after I tend to spray some Skindinavia make-up primer spray (link) over the top and the finishing spray after the rest of my make-up.
I love the packaging and the pump is a true selling point, making application an ease - especially if you are hung over... In fact I truly can believe this would be great after a night out when your skin is looking lack luster and needing some moisture.
This is indeed a lovely product that I do recommend for all ages who are after more of a hydration boost and plumpness to their skin, or indeed for those trying to avoid silicone based products. Probably best aimed towards those with drier skin types as I can't imagine it would do much for oilier skin types.
